Orders are shipped duty-free, meaning you will not pay any additional customs fees.
For our customers in the USA:
We understand the concerns about new tariffs introduced by the current administration. To ensure a smooth and seamless shipping experience, we’re covering the cost of these fees for you—so you won’t see any surprise charges at checkout or upon delivery.
When your order ships, it begins with “first-mile shipping”, where the package is handed off to a logistics carrier that prepares it for transport. During this stage, tracking information is created and shared with USPS or another “last-mile carrier” (the carrier responsible for delivering the package to your doorstep).
It may take a few days for the last-mile carrier to officially scan and receive the package into their system, which can cause a delay in tracking updates.
Rest assured, your order is on its way! Once the last-mile carrier scans it, you’ll see updates through your tracking link.
It is important to ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete when placing an order. If you need to change the shipping address after your order has been placed, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request if the order has not yet been shipped, however we may not be able to support your request.
As our team works hard to maintain our promised fulfillment times, once your order has been placed we have already begun processing it and cannot be canceled. We encourage you to carefully review your order prior to completing your purchase.

We offer a 30 day guarantee on all our katanas! For more information on returns and exchanges, read our Return Policy.
Depending on availability, we sometimes ship items in your order separately.
Navigate to our order tracking page in the menu and enter your order information. If your order was separated into multiple shipments, you will see your order number with a "F1, F2, F3, etc" suffix. Click on each shipment to view the relevant tracking info.
If all packages have arrived, and you are missing items, please contact us at support@kokorokatana.com with your order number and the details within 48 hours of receiving the package. Depending on inventory and stock, we may ship products separately. In this case, you will receive separate shipping confirmation emails containing the tracking number for each package. We will cover the shipping costs for any missing or incomplete items. If we are unable to provide a replacement, we will issue a refund for the missing or incomplete items.

No, the blades on our swords are made from a high-quality unsharpened steel alloy, ensuring they are safe to handle and carry without any risk of injury.
Nope! These blades are for display and collecting, not for slicing and dicing. They’ll look amazing on your wall, but if you’re looking to cut watermelons in half with a single swing… this isn’t the way.
Our swords are crafted step by step from the design process to manufacturing with meticulous attention to detail. We work with skilled artisans and use high-quality materials to ensure each katana captures the essence of the design's source material, while maintaining a perfect size for collection and everyday use. As each katana is hand painted, minor cosmetic inconsistencies can be expected.
Short answer: Yes, with exceptions!
As we are dedicated to keeping our offerings fresh and exciting, we regularly introduce new designs and collections inspired by different anime series. While we work diligently to restock our most popular katanas, some will be notated as "Limited" which means once they are sold out - they won't come back!

Products: Full-sized swords
It depends on the version you choose! We clearly mark every full-sized sword as either [SHARP] or [DULL] in the product title.
- [SHARP] models: Yes, these feature a live edge and are sharp.
- [DULL] models: These have a rounded edge and cannot cut.
Important: regardless of the edge, all our swords are crafted strictly for display and cosplay purposes. Please handle all sharp items with extreme caution.
Every sword is crafted using traditional methods, from the initial sketch to the final polish at the forge. Our artisans use premium materials to ensure each piece is built for lasting beauty.
Because our swords are hand-forged and made to order, no two are exactly alike. You may notice minor cosmetic variations. These are not defects, but the natural signature of a handmade collectible.
Our swords are typically crafted from either 1045, 1060, or T10 Carbon Steel. These materials are chosen for their balance of durability and aesthetic finish.

Yes. Real sword steel requires care. The natural oils from your skin can cause rust over time. We recommend not touching the blade directly with bare hands. If you do, wipe it down and apply a light coat of sword oil (or mineral oil) to keep the blade in pristine condition. You can find our cleaning kits available for purchase here.
Each full-sized sword comes with a Single-Layer Display Stand, and is encased in a Silk-lined Wooden Display Box.

When we began this journey in early 2023, and wanted to provide quality anime collectibles to our friends & family. As we've expanded, we've been fortunate to be able to use our success to design many exclusive custom swords that cannot be found anywhere else.
Our purpose at KOKORO KATANA is to constantly bring the newest, most accurate designs to anime and gaming fans. We see ourselves as pioneers who push our ideas forward.
Unfortunately, others choose to copy and knockoff our designs. We can't control that, so we'll just keep pushing forward!
